Yesterday as I was surfing the web I came across this awesome worship group called "Aradhna,"(I'm always surfing the web as you can tell from yesterdays post.) Aradhna means worship in the Hindi language. The music is world music or more precisely India worship music. For those of you who don't know me and maybe some of you who do know me don't know this but I have always loved the India culture and I'm not really sure why? Maybe the music, colors, people, and food have drawn me to want to learn more about the culture? But this worship CD has brought me great joy, because first of all I love God and to see music from other cultures worship God with their culture is truly magnificent and secondly, I enjoy India music and the instruments they use such as the sitar, guitar, and the tabla and bayan which are hand drums. I want to write more about this group and share with you more about their music so I will leave that for tomorrows post.
